Hello and thank you for visiting.  I suppose if you're here, that means you might be interested in knowing a little bit about me.

I first became interested in photography at a very young age when my grandfather showed me his various cameras.  When I was 17, I got my first 35mm camera and haven't lost interest since.

Once digital cameras and memory cards hit the scene, photography became my passion and my outlet.  It's now what I do when I want that zen feeling, when I don't want to worry or stress.

Most of my photography is done outdoors or in other natural light settings.  I love animals of all types, so they make lots of appearances in my work. I don't live near a lot of inspiring vistas, but I do love to travel and try to photograph as much as I can of most anything I can while I'm away.

In fact, I can't seem to pin down one "genre" of photography, if you will. People say that you should be either a landscape, wedding, wildlife, portrait or other specific type of photographer. I say why? Why limit yourself?  Or maybe that's just my excuse for not being able to pick a lane.

Regardless of the reason, I shoot anything and everything I find interesting and I've been fortunate enough to have 38 photos receive recognition in multiple contests. All that said, I do hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
